Easter!

Easter is always a beautiful holiday. I love celebrating and reflecting on the atonement of our Savior!

This year we were at Emily's house for Easter. She has a tradition where her kids plant jelly beans the night before Easter and when they wake up in the morning there are bunny foot prints leading to a couple of lollipops in their place. Totally adorable. Here's Blake next to the footprints.

Our Easter picture attempts were pretty unsuccessful this year. This was as good as it was going to get!

Blake loved having all these family members around to play. Like his "chicks dig me" shirt?

We attempted to teach Blake how to hunt for Easter eggs. It was a huge hit! He loved it! He found the first one and realized really quickly that there was candy on the inside. After that it was game on! He picked them up and put them in his little bucket.

After a few eggs he realized that he could just plop down and start opening them to eat the candy. After that it was pretty difficult to get him to find any more eggs.

He LOVES his cozy coupe. He sat in it to eat all of his jelly beans.

He also loves this shopping cart, so he loaded up his eggs into the cart and pushed it all around the yard.

Emily had hidden a few real hard boiled eggs around the yard too. Blake wasn't as impressed with those.

Happy Easter!
